Have you ever had black spaghetti before? Me neither! Well, not until yesterday. My girlfriend had made this recipe for me before but when we tried it the first time, we couldn't find a few of the ingredients in this recipe (namely, the PC products it called for were not to be found at our local PC grocery store).
This week though, she found all of the correct parts, so we decided to try it again with the real thing! It was great the first time, but I'd say even better this time... and cooler looking with the black noodles. The peperoncini piccanti is very tasty and adds a great kick - they're basically red chili peppers packed in oil with some flavouring.
Give it a try yourself, especially if you can find the black noodles! It's still a great simple seafood recipe without them though. We replaced the olives with scallops, because scallops are awesome and olives are silly.
