People in Durham braved the cold temperatures to raise money for Special Olympics Ontario.
West Grey Police Service held their third annual Polar Plunge at St. Peter's and St. Paul's Separate School on Friday.
A total of 38 people took the plunge in the icy cold water.
In addition to the plunge, there was a floor hockey and basketball games, food, a dance party.
The event raised $10,000 for Special Olympics Ontario.
