West Grey Police are launching a new ticketing program, the target? Kids doing good deeds.
Police who "catch" children doing good things will reward them with a coupon for a free French-fry from MacDonald's.
Police say this program is to build trusting relationships with youths in the community and encourage them to make good choices.
Police hope that by engaging with the community on a positive level that they will make officers more approachable and instill a sense of confidence from the community in their police force.
They say that whether you are crossing a road safely or just picking up some litter, you may be issued a positive ticket.
