Arrested Twice

Police say the man was arrested Friday night then again Sunday morning

One man is facing charges after having two run-ins with Owen Sound Police this weekend.

City police say they were called shortly after 2am Sunday morning about a man attempting to enter vehicles in the area of 8th Street and 5th Avenue East.

Officers say they quickly located the male and placed him under arrest.

However, the man was arrested Friday evening for failing to comply with conditions of two probation orders.

The male had been released from custody Saturday morning on a promise to appear and conditions of an undertaking.

A 39 year old of no fixed address, is charged with attempted theft from motor vehicle, fail to comply with conditions of an undertaking and breaches of his probation orders.

He will have a bail hearing later today.
