Ontario is making a $2.4 million investment to build a better patient-centred healthcare system
Premier Doug Ford says the funding will see 13 more health teams created across the province, bringing the total number to 42.
“When all these teams are fully up and running, 86 per cent of Ontarians will be covered by better and connected care,” he said.
Ford says the investment will tighten the defence around those who need care and aid the fight against Covid-19.
Patients will also experience easier transitions moving between care providers with one set of records.
