A GoFundMe page has been created with an aim to raise money for the family and children of an Owen Sound man who recently passed.
27-year-old Josh Thompson was reported missing from his Owen Sound home on August 19th. A two-day search for him in the West Rocks Management Area in Georgian Bluffs concluded with police confirming Thompson had been located deceased. Police say his death has been deemed non-suspicious.
The GoFundMe page created by Jen Hladil says Thompson worked at Home Hardware and leaves behind his wife Emily and their children. Hladil says, “We are trying to raise money for his family and kids. Please donate.”
As of 5:30 p.m., Thursday August 27th, the page had raised $6,805 of its $20,000 goal to help support the Thompson family.
