The Municipality of Arran-Elderslie is putting the old Paisley Library building on the market.
On Jan. 13, council approved issuing an expression of interest to purchase and redevelop the building at 274 Queen Street North in Paisley.
The municipality says the goal is to work with qualified firms or people interested in purchasing and redeveloping the property after the Paisley library branch moved to the community centre in June, 2024.
Mayor Steve Hammell says, “we’re looking to connect this beloved landmark in the heart of Paisley with an owner who shares a vision for enhancing our community.”
Those who would like to express interest in the building can visit the municipal website here before the submission deadline on April 17 at 2 p.m.
