Planning a vacation can be stressful. You need to decide where you’re going, when to go, and how you’re going to get there. Some people have their favorite vacation spots, while others have the wanderlust that takes them somewhere new. If you’re looking for some unique trip ideas, consider some of the weirdest tourist attractions in Canada and experience something extraordinary.
Canada’s Largest Coffee Pot
Some people can’t start the day without coffee. If that’s you, maybe you need to drink from the world’s largest coffee pot in Davidson, Saskatchewan. The coffee pot is 24 feet tall and would supposedly hold over 150,000 cups of coffee. This roadside attraction was once the largest coffee pot in the world, although the Koontz Coffee Pot in Pennsylvania has since beat it out. Still, it’s a gorgeous and interesting attraction that’s well worth a visit.
The Enchanted Forest
Before hitting the road, you need to pack the essentials on an RV road trip and decide where you want to stop for the night. If you want to experience something truly magical, you owe it to yourself to park your RV at Canada’s Enchanted Forest. This attraction in British Columbia has castles, treehouses, nature walks, and magical activities that are great for the whole family.
Hôtel de Glace
If you love the idea of a winter wonderland, Quebec’s Hôtel de Glace is perfect in the colder winter season. The country’s only ice hotel is open from January to March and has gorgeous sculptures, fine dining experiences, and amazing local scenery well worth exploring! We may call it one of the weirdest tourist attractions in Canada, but only because it offers a unique experience you won’t find anywhere else.
World’s Largest Dinosaur
Nearly every little kid falls in love with dinosaurs, and often, the kid inside of us can still appreciate the majesty of these giant beasts. If you’re looking for unique roadside attractions, you can check out the world’s largest dinosaur. Located right in the Canadian Badlands in Drumheller, the massive T-rex is over 85 feet tall and has been delighting guests since 2001. The Canadian government funded a restoration project on this fantastic attraction in 2020, so it’s worth a visit to check out the new and improved dinosaur!
