Military personnel will be in Owen Sound today for a leadership training exercise.
Members will be gathering at the Grey and Simcoe Foresters Armoury on July 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the exercise, which aims to maintain and further develop the leadership skills of Canadian army soldiers.
The personnel will be in small groups and out of their military fatigues.
The 4th Canadian Division Training Centre says in a release, “local Owen Sound residents may notice these groups moving around the area, but they will be unobtrusive and will not need to interact with the public. All measures are being taken to ensure minimum inconvenience to those in the area.”
